How to Write an Introduction

A good introduction contains

A greeting for tourists
A short description of the route
An indication of the starting and finish points
Recommendations for travelers (timing, how to dress, what to take, etc.)
Directions on how to get to the starting point of the tour

An example of a good introduction

Welcome to Brussels and get ready to explore this wonderful city!

The best way to get to the starting point of the tour is to take the metro or tram to the stop “Louise”. Then you can walk a few meters to the place Poeleart. You'll quickly understand why it is considered to be “the head” of Brussels – head in the clouds but not only!

You will cross the Marolles together, a place believed to be “the heart” of Brussels. Then you’ll go towards the city center and meet our different mascots and buildings located in places much appreciated by Brussels. Finally, you will go through “the belly” of Brussels to finish at its feet.

At each stop you’ll have a map with GPS showing the way to the next location. Also, every stop includes an audio guide with stories, funny facts, and explanations. Listen and enjoy no matter the weather (and it can change very fast here, be ready!). Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water with you.

Now it’s time to begin!
